as far as anything else I've been going through a bunch of Terry Funk shit (which lead me back to the deatmatch stuff) and i don't understand how nobody can cut a promo like this anymore

Real freaks and outcasts for whom hurting themselves for a living was an attractive career choice cus the other choices were truck driver or prison. So they had to make it work at any costs. I hate to say it but boomers are fucking right about wrestling, ever since I got into watching old territory stuff I can seldom enjoy modern stuff. Watching Funk and Lawler work punches on grainy cameras is just something else.
lastly i'll probably watch The Claw sometime this week, the Baron von Raschke film
