So I forced myself to watch a few epiodes of this crap and lo and behold, it's not good.
>The whole look of the show feels more like you're watching American Gladiators instead of a serious wrestling TV show.
>The commentary is fucking atrocious.
>There's a camera cut after every fucking move that would make WWE jealous.
>There's 0 explanation on who any of these wrestlers are you see on TV at any given time.
>The crowd sweetening is through the roof.
>The production in general is nauseous. Too much cheap lightning, camera cuts, unnecessary slow motion bits, etc.
>Pretty much all the matches are nothing happening ~5 minute matches that are never allowed to reach 2nd gear.
>The ring is fucking small for some reason, which takes you out of it and makes the whole thing come across even less serious than it already is.
>There are hardly any familiar faces wrestling on the show. It feels like they took actors and turned them into the wrestlers. I know a good chunk of current indy, female wrestlers in the U.S., but 80% of the roster I've never heard of before
>All the gimmick are mid 90's WWF over the top gimmicks that are badly acted making you think you're watching some kind of porn parody.
You know what the actual least insulting part of this whole thing was? The wrestling. It's actually pretty okay. Not mind-blowing, or anything, but completely passable.
All in all, it comes across as not serious and anything but big league, but rather a big inside joke or jab at something. It feels like I'm watching a parody of something, because there's 0 cohesion, or gravitas to any of it.
