An even if they did have cool people, culturally, a modern corporate American wrestling promotion just isn't willing to introduce a new mainstream cool Stone Cold equivalent to their audience.
Why? Well, because not offending advertisers or pressure groups means more money. Plus they have their own desire to appeal to the lowest common denominator to maximize profits.
