They had just recently come over to Raw from Smackdown after their (at the time) record tag title run and had won the World Tag titles off-screen at a house show before dropping them back.
It felt like they were going to have the same tag success on Raw that they did on the blue brand but after this random burial they largely stopped appearing on TV apart from the occasional squash matches before they were broken up in the draft about half a year later
