I think NOAH did some tours of England when the wrestling channel was a thing, not sure how successful they were.
Dragon Gate failed to capitalize on all the things that made them unique and just focused on the same 4,000 smart mark indie fans in the north east. If they had piggy backed with anime conventions they could of sold millions of Shingo and BxB Hulk body pillows, got internet buzz outside of smarks. Instead we got Dragon Gate rematches with 5-10 minutes shaved off and a bunch of CHIKARA dorks filling out the undercard.
Ultimately they have to find a way to advertise to normies so they can draw more than the dwindling number of indie fans. And without being on TBS/TNT no one has been able to do that.
