>[Stardom] Natsupoi declares counterattack, mixed feelings over Sareee's "kept in captivity" remarks
>The counterattack of Natsupoi (30), the "fairy" of the women's professional wrestling "Stardom," has begun. She has been selected to take part in her best friend's independent event, "Saree-ISM Chapter IX" (held at Shinjuku Face on the 10th). She revealed her complicated feelings about Sareee's "keep-holding" remarks.
>In the main event of the tournament, Natsupoi will team up with Sendai Girls' Chihiro Hashimoto to face Sareee and Suzu Suzuki. At a press conference held on October 28th, Sareee spoke harshly of Natsupoi, saying, "Lately, I've felt like Natsupoi has been simmering away in the Stardom ring. It's a harsh way of putting it, but it feels like she's been kept in the dark." In response to Sareee's words, Natsupoi said, "I think there are many ways to interpret this, but I think Sareee was trying to convey that 'It's up to you to rise as high as you want.' It's true that there were times when I struggled, but I don't think I was doing nothing."
>She says that her best friend's words helped her realize this. Natsupoi, who celebrated her 10th anniversary since her debut in May this year, held a 10th anniversary commemorative tournament with fellow debutant Saori Anou. After that, in July, she challenged world champion Saya Kamitani, but was sadly defeated and missed out on the title. In the league tournament "5STAR GP," she lost to Rina in the quarter-finals, and withdrew from the singles scene.
