>>6718714I honestly have no fucking idea why they just dropped it and it was really indicative of them having no long term plans creatively. It wasn't great by any means but it's the most interesting Edge had been since 2006. The character change was a much needed shot in the arm and now he's just the Rated R Superstar again without any of the leeway to anything deserving of that moniker. They gave him a dimes look and aesthetic, plus Alter Bridge entrance music that was literally meant for him, and just kicked him out after like 3 weeks for no reason.
