I have empathy for Adam but not sympathy. Or the other way around, I forget how that works. Anyway. You can do solid work in the gym without barbell squat/deadlift, just have to get creative. Adam gets this much criticism BECAUSE he's so much better than average in promos and storytelling. He's just missing the ONE thing, a matching physique!
