There is no need to crown a new ace of NJPW yet. Okada isn't even out of his fucking prime. He's barely 35, he's never suffered a serious injury that caused him to miss a lot of time.
Shota, Tsuji, Uemura, and Narita are going to have to wait a while.
These early years should be used to establish rivalries for them that will bear fruit later. Establishing a feud with Ospreay is a no-brainer and if you think it should begin with them winning, you're just wrong. Go watch Kobashi's AJPW run and learn something.
