On October 20th at Shinjuku FACE, Starlight Kid held the "Kitchan Family in Danger!?" tournament to celebrate their 10th anniversary since their debut. Kid has long publicly declared her love for Neo Ladies, and many wrestlers with ties to the group participated, including Kyoko Inoue, Yoshiko Tamura, Tanny Mouse, Yuki Miyazaki, Yuiga, and Hiroyo Matsumoto.
>"I was worried that if I made the neo-color too strong, today's audiences wouldn't understand it at all (laughs), but more than that, I suddenly found myself in a situation with the title 'A Close Call'... (Due to equipment problems) we couldn't hold a PPV, so I'm very grateful to President Okada (Taro) for his decision to quickly switch to free streaming on YouTube, and I apologise to the company... I prioritized spreading professional wrestling, and in the sense that people were able to see all of my past, present and future, I think I was able to inspire a lot of people."
>"(Seira) Mei was put in an embarrassing position by Miyazaki and lamented that she would never be able to get married, but (Amasaki) Miyu had thought of many ways to avoid it (laughs). Including AZM who acted as our second, I think now is the time for NEO GENESIS to grow even bigger, so I would like to increase the number of members next year. It seems that people think it's difficult to get into because we're a gal type (laughs), so I would like to find a new face who can break down that wall.
>We didn't start out with a gyaru concept in the first place, but rather with the concept of "people of the same generation" and the people who gathered just happened to be gyaru (laughs). I haven't trained newcomers in the last 10 years, so I thought I'd like to do more to "build them up" and I think it will also strengthen the bonds and power of the unit. Also, we have three former high-speed champions, so I think we should use this as an advantage. We want to raise the girls who aim to be high-speed."
