>>9443135Punk unironically has a point to be upset if the issue here was incredibly poor booking. If what he says is true, then Moxley suggesting the whole "Rocky" thing would've made sense but only if there was enough time between a squash or whatever and his eventual training and rise back to the top. Having it happen in less than 2 weeks makes absolutely no sense and is TNA-hot shot tier. Clearly, the blame there is with Tony and not realising this.
That said, Moxley should've also realised this and done some other kind of finish. Even if it would've been worse for the story going into the match, its much better to have a shitty story than actively burning a bridge for your talent when that talent clearly seems to be a draw, even if they're a cunt, which Punk is.
Punk going after the Elite and others in his Media Scrum however, makes absolutely no sense. It was childish of him, and didn't address the main issues he seems to air with the build up to that match. Punk really doesn't seem to have a legitimate reason other than disagreeing with the EVPs (in which he's said very little in terms of actually solid events in which they've disagreed), not mentioning the Colt Cobana stuff which honestly might be the most deranged part of that entire Media Scrum. It was like he just had a bunch of random things that he hadn't talked with people beforehand and issues and what not, and then decided to bottle up his emotions over time and then let it out at a Media Scrum in front of Cameras and reporters.
It's incredibly unprofessional and shows he isn't willing to communicate with others, and despite willing to go out and air his grievances about others in public, directly after a massive big event where as many eyes as possible are on him, he won't air what the EVPs have actually done to him.
If he has an issue with Jericho, Mox and Tony, that makes sense and I think most people can see that, but that Media Scrum combined with this new information still seems deranged.
