Great thread… here is what I have read.
Best book is Bret’s, one of my favorite books of any genre. Blood and Fire was excellent too, JR’s books were great. Hardcore history is a great audiobook (as is blood and fire, check out his podcast “shut up and wrestle” which has some brilliant guests and some insider office perspectives on WWE history)
Dustys book sucked. Ringmaster had some good research but was written by a hysterical (in the unfunny sense) Trump derangement sufferer.
Tried to listen to the Andre audiobook, which is meant to be well written, but the narrator sucked.
Sorry I love You, started off as a promising book from the Progress promoter, but just turned in to recapping WWE storylines. I read the Alvarez WCW book as a kid but plan to re read.
But if you never read a wrestling book before, promise me you start with Bret. It’s a masterpiece.
