You can really see just how charismatic Inoki was and how much the fans loved him. Same with Maeda, pure charisma machine that the crowd loved to hate.
Technically the UWF was a different organisation to the UWFi, but to be honest they were pretty much the same thing with the latter just being a younger generation. The angle was pretty similar too with Takada taking on the Maeda role of rebellious shooter breaking away to form their own thing.
