>[STARDOM] Saya Kamitani to face Tam Nakano on April 27th for rematch after contract termination, reveals "the reason why she is considering retirement"
>Saya Kamitani (28), the "Phoenix fallen to the dark" who holds the world title in the women's professional wrestling company Stardom, has shown her resolve as the queen of evil. After beating Nakano in the loser's match at Korakuen Hall on the 3rd, Kamitani proposed a one-on-one match for the world title and retirement at the Yokohama Arena event on April 27th as her "last chance". Nakano accepted, and the decision was made official. Why did Kamitani show mercy to Nakano? We interviewed her directly.
>With Kamitani's victory, Nakano will retire from the company on March 3rd. It has been officially decided that the World Championship match at Yokohama Arena will be held under the "Completely Decided Loser Retires Special Rules" and "No Seconds Rules". Kamitani declared, "I have no intention of retiring. Right now I am doing this to make Stardom bigger and to spread professional wrestling to the world, so if I lose here my life will be over. We've decided to do it with no seconds, and I will beat him with my own ability and make him retire. I will sink him to the depths of hell and make sure he will never be able to climb out of this hell."
>What is interesting is why Kamitani, who won at the Korakuen Hall event on the 3rd, showed mercy by keeping Nakano, who had decided to leave the company. When asked how he felt at the time, he said, "When I said, 'I'm not done yet,' it was something that came out unconsciously. I was expressing my honest feelings that I wasn't ready to end it yet."
