i don't believe anything jericho says anymore earnestly. it seems like he's turned into a bigger carny as he gets older. the thing with david is that he seems like really naive guy who's still young at heart, but he doesn't seem to fully grasp what his dad did and why the stuff he's doing seems a bit odd to people. if he really wanted to become a wrestler, the best option for him was to have headed out to japan and started over there were the shadow of his dad wasn't looming in the same way as here. but from the stories we've heard it seems his desire to be in the business is much bigger than any work or effort he's willing to put in. i have heard of that rumor of him going to wrestling school and stopping then starting again, but i don't know whether to believe it or if that's where jericho intervened and tried to get him trained in another school or what.
