Let's assume Finlay finishes first in his block and goes straight to the semis, which is very likely to happen. Who can beat him and go onto the finals then? Cobb, Henare or Goto are obviously not main eventing the G1 Climax final. The only other realistic choice is Tsuji. But if Tsuji is making the finals then Umino should be making the finals as well.
So the G1 final is either going to be SANADA vs Finlay or Tsuji vs Umino? That sounds grim.
