The New Generation was unironically the peak of wrestling. It had great matches, kino storytelling, and peak Bret, Owen, Razor and Shawn, all of whom were great characters and wrestlers. It didn't have the grossness of the Attitude Era but was more mature than 80's WWF. It was perfect and I say that as a zoomer who's gone back and watched it.
