Winning a match wasn't even top priority but rather the ratings, which forced you to actually work the match according to the various tastes of the different audiences (Strong Style, King's Road, Hardcore, Lucha, Showman (WWE/WCW) and Stoic Style (MMA)). Hardly any other game came even close to such depth (with the exception of maybe King of Colosseum, which also had a ratings system), especially not the recent games. Too bad the GBA's very limited controls and thus toned down movesets compared to the console Fire Pro Games held the game back.
