Also, a detail that many seem to forget. WCW had loads of fans, don't let WWE retelling of history fool you. When they closed, it's not like WWF had a huge increase in ratings. The last 2 million WCW fans were extremely loyal and the majority just stopped watching wrestling.
AEW also has a similar 400k hardcore marks that I believe, if the company were to close today, most would just go away. One can only hope.
