>[Stardom] Syuri reveals the highlights and key points of the introductory audition
>Auditions for entry into the women's professional wrestling league "Stardom" will begin on the 18th episode of TV Asahi's "Golden Dream" (every Wednesday at 2:36 a.m.).
>The program will follow the physical fitness tests of the 17 contestants who passed the audition. Judges include Syuri, Maika, Saori Anou, and Natsupoi. In an interview with this newspaper, Syuri said with shining eyes, "I often watch audition programs like 'HANA' myself, and they're interesting. There are people who see them and want to support the contestants, so I think this kind of project is good for women's professional wrestling and Stardom. I think it will attract a lot of attention."
>In contrast to the glamorous atmosphere on the ring, the road to debuting as a wrestler is tough and difficult. That's why the judges are so serious. Syuri said, "Some of the kids have amazing physiques from the start and you can tell they're taking the test with the determination to become a professional wrestler, but there are also some kids who make you wonder, 'Do they really want to become one?' or 'Maybe they're only taking the test because they're looking at the shiny surface.' But it'll be interesting to see how those kids change."
>Syuri herself was inspired to become a professional wrestler after auditioning for Hustle in 2008. "In my case, it was in the talent category, so it wasn't an audition where I was like, 'I'm seriously going to become a professional wrestler!' But auditions are still pretty nerve-wracking, and I felt nostalgic about it," she recalls, watching over the other participants.
>It will be interesting to see if the show will produce a new star in the world of women's professional wrestling.
