Worst was growing up as millenial seeing this overt degeneration creep into comics first through edgy deconstructions and parodies for fun, like Marshall Law is a good example of a parody that denigrated established heroes as perverts and weirdos but now every other character is a pervert and a weirdo for real. The most notable new character of the era, Spawn, is basically a cuck story from first episode, that's where the downfall started.
Once the Caliarts cliq and female quotas took over, everyone became a raped bitch by default. There was no longer sub-context or subtelty, everything had to be told to the audience, detailed and recorded as the new fact.
