It was never "an official" poll by any means as this thread OP claims. The year isn't over yet.
It was a qualifier and a filter for lesser KWABOTYs being thrown around on the board and scout some other nominees.
I am tempted to make an actual time consuming poll with multiple categories later in the year or in January if I'm around with some artificial fuckery limitations like only accepting 300-400 max votes and proper opening and closing time, I think that would be as accurate representation of anon voting as possible but we will see.
