Maybe you don't care. Maybe, like some of these outlets have openly stated, wrestling is just silly unserious entertainment, it isn't to be taken seriously or covered seriously, "and please don't call me a journalist, I am not a journalist" is a mantra you agree with and a cover you allow these people to take. In most cases, that is, in fact, accurate. The wrestling media is for the most part a hodgepodge collection of part time, underpaid, unpaid, untrained, unskilled, unprofessional amateurs who have no desire whatsoever to do better and are more than willing to continue playing the game.
But if you do care, be reminded that these are the outlets asking questions at the pressers, and be reminded that these are the same outlets that will review Smackdown later tonight. And I'm sure those reviews will be critical and show no fear or favor.
