This is from someone in the previous thread and it links to my recent comments about Maika. Alongside the issues I mentioned there also does seem to be some 'identity' problems with her character:
- Seemed to turn heel
- Started doing some whispery kind of promos
- Stopped for no reason
- Did that sort of slutty mean girl weird post-match promo with Suzu (photo attached)
- Never did anything like it again
- Has seemingly gone back to being a babyface
- No explanation as to why
It's starting to feel she's just throwing shit at the wall to see what'll fit. Meanwhile, Mai got an identifiable and easy to understand gimmick, stuck with it and then got a push and extra attention.
