And another thing, our entertainment options have gone through the fucking roof. The internet was barely even a fucking thing to the degree it is now and you had how many channels to choose from when you paid for cable? We've been saturated.
Also, both the Federation Years and the Attitude booms were credited to the strength and hunger of the teams. We don't have a Rock or a Stone Cold anymore; performers who were capable of coming through the camera and captivating your attention. Why? Because when they get to a certain point, they leave for Hollywood, so the brand is what gets over and nothing else.
And the reason that all that genetic trash is in the audience is because lo and behold, they are also in the ring. Attitude Era wrestlers did coke, somas, steroids, painkillers, drank booze and fucked bitches. They came from either working class backgrounds or athletic backgrounds, playing college football and the like. Does anyone on the AEW roster look like they ever played football? You think The Young Bucks are convincing enough to kick somebodies ass without it resorting to a slap fight? Does either look intimidating and scream wrestler to anyone who glances at them? The guys that piss testosterone all left and when MMA took off, not one of them vyed for becoming a pro wrestler ever again and were no longer fooled by the theatrics of it because they didn't want to do dancing gimmicks or get fingered by JBL in the shower if they actually tried. Wrestling did it to itself by allowing that cringey hazing rituals and embarrassing shit to be seen on camera and for it to leak from behind the scenes.
>They cringe and complain at the smallest ounce of masculinity or female attractiveness on television while praising ugliness, obesity, and weakness.
Yeah, those are the hallmarks of Marxism. You need to start asking harder societal questions and not the end results of it that you see at wrestling shows.
