But whatever you do, don't tap into your kids college funds while you're out of work. It's very important that they be educated. Don't let the next generation end up in terrible dead-end jobs like us where they're disposable and can't afford good things. I'm a shoe salesman and I can't even afford to add on to my house's garage to make room for my new boat.
