>>12953593I remember crowds chanting "Albert" at him, which I thought was dumb at the time. It would be like chanting "Dwayne" at the Rock. Anyway, WWE should have pivoted and made his gimmick be that he was Albert who went to Japan to train but hit his head and now he's convinced that he's Lord Tensai. His entourage fears him but also tries to keep him from realizing who he really is, because then they might be out of jobs. So everytime Lord Tensai comes out, he has like 3 or 4 Japanese guys coming out with him, shouting, begging, pleading, etc. with the crowd not to call him "Albert." Chanting could even cause Tensai to temporarily regain his memory, possibly treated as the only way he can lose a match. The "Albert" chant then becomes a part of his gimmick, and could eventually be part of what awakens Albert so he can follow his true calling... hip hop!
Just kidding about that last part. Hip hop is trash. I do think this gimmick presentation would have worked though.
