Allow me to be the devil's advocate. As long as they keep the plethora of animations they already have, it's fine. If you make a Jericho CAW, you can give him Jericho's entrance. If you make a Dean CAW, you can give him Dean's entrance. If you make a Sonic CAW, give him something where he's running. If you make a CAW of an indie shitter, well there's probably something generic enough to fit him. Besides, this system was always retarded because as soon as your wrestler held a championship it wouldn't allow you to use your custom entrance at all for God knows what reason.
It's a disappointment sure, but a minor one. Since the very start the SVR/2k create-an-entrance has been janky and ghetto as fuck with numerous glitches. So many more games like DOR and Fire Pro have custom entrances where the characters actually seamlessly transition from one move to the other without relying on camera cuts. They should scrap everything and make a more dynamic system that allows that, but they were obviously afraid to take that risk of upsetting hardcore autists that want everything the same as it was 15 years ago. This is the result.
