>>10068276Nikki's car pulls up outside the WWA dojo and she hops out. She's never actually been to this place, and never intended on visiting. After all, she skipped the dojo and it worked out brilliantly for her, while it seems like just about every dojo product fails miserably. All except for Amy of course. Nikki smiles to herself. By opening Amy's eyes just as Priscilla once opened hers, she saved her. Helped her become an Angel. Still, even that doesn't always work. Lightning Nika's inability to win is proof that you can take the girl out of the dojo, but you can't always take the dojo out of the girl.
Nikki struts toward the main entrance of the dojo. A few trainees in the area stop and stare, clearly starstruck. Most of them look around her age. Some older. Bunch of losers, leaning on a system that holds them back. And one of them had the nerve to vandalise that painting of Madame Divine.
The automatic doors to the main lobby slide open and Nikki heads straight toward the receptionist's desk. The young woman sitting there looks up at her with an expression resembling fear. "W-what can I do for you, Ms. Kade?" she asks.
"Show me the security footage from the day Madame Divine's portrait was vandalised."
"I'm s-sorry, we don't hav-"
"I saw cameras outside," Nikki replies. Years of petty theft back home in Ireland taught her to always keep an eye out for them. "So show me the footage, or it'll be your face sandwiched between my boots and this lovely tiled floor instead of whichever dumb fuck you're covering for."
"One moment please," says the receptionist. She makes a call, then a few moments later a security guard approaches Nikki. She tenses herself, ready for a fight, but the guard merely asks her to follow him.
