This should've been the formula really, and it would've been a perfectly workable one to bring in a couple of Japanese guys for a Wrestlemania tag or something and then throw a WWF guy or two in NJPW's next Tokyo Dome show.
But when Hogan went to WCW, the bridge to NJPW went with him. I think Hogan had a lot to do with their working together in the 80s and 90s.
