>>9736219The "relationship" between NJPW and AEW has been presented with such a low level of respect from AEW in terms of communicating with the audience just how big NJPW and with how they have handled talent sharing. It was off to a good start - G1 Moxley for example was very entertaining and I still maintain that it was his best work to date post WWE. But now you have the likes of Lance Archer and Andrade doing nothing in AEW despite clearly wanting to work and both being title holders in NJPW previously - Bryan Danielson, another with history in the company is doing BCC slop despite it having two other main event calibur wrestlers in Claudio and Moxley when a G1 spot is CRYING out for him.
Even WCW had a better talent sharing relationship, they got some talented cruiserweights and a seperate NWO faction which got exceedingly popular. Plus they were able to breathe life into the careers of Fake Sting and Scott Norton - turning a career jobber in Fake Sting into a beloved tag partner of Chono and Scott Norton the no.1 Gaijin wrestler.
Problem is that currently NJPW seems to have far too many Gaijin bloating their roster making any AEW talent shares feel less special. But that's their problem.
Khan clearly just sees them as additional toys to play with for yummy no story bangers to make the same niche selection of smarks pop online with neither company growing from it. Also, didn't he partner with Noah recently too? What's come of THAT lately?
If Tony isn't careful he could have a vindicated Triple H remind Bushiroad about the history between the WWF, WCW and perhaps have his own excursion exchange between NXT (Creed Brothers would be OVER in Japan, and lets not leave out Bronson fucking STEINER) and Japan and do a one off Dome show (which would easily sell out and make Tony look like a HUGE rookie)
