Those guys had a long road before they made it to the fed and had proven themselves in Japan, Mexico and WCW.
Matt and Jeff Hardy were treated similarly, and then they got themselves over and were two of the boys. They are respected now that they earned it. Jim is just a cantankerous old asshole with a grudge.
