Not everyone starts immediately at STARDOM as the first promotion they encountered so I was wondering how everyone else discovered it.
For me, it was WWE > WWF > ECW > TNA > WCW > NXT > NJPW > LUCHA UNDERGROUND > PWG > DDT > ROH > NWA > AAA > AEW > STARDOM > UWF, AAA, AJW, AJPW, TJPW, REV PRO and many more. I probably missed out some and the order should be something like that haha. The biggest influences for me was definitely STARDOM's alumni, in particular Io Shirai, Kairi and Toni Storm. Other great talents in the Joshi scene that have ventured overseas had also opened my eyes especially Hikaru Shida, Kana and Riho.
Praise from big names about the Joshi scene from wrestlers including Kenny Omega also made me think about getting into it. The other thing that caught my attention was the 5 star between Syuri vs Utami. After that, I found and watched Io vs Arisa at Year End Climax 2013 and it pretty much sealed the deal for me. After that, I subscribed to STARDOM world, literally watched every single blue and gold recommended match available. It's been a good half a year since and I now just check in once in a while to catch up with the content. How about you guys? :)
