Most documentaries have this kind of setup, since to display the immaculate ongoings of nature isn't exactly easy. It would make for a really boring documentary if you have a seabed and only have a camera capture like 0.01% of the total thing, which nothing ever happens on because the bird didn't happen to swoop down exactly when a fish was staying still.
