That clause of "I can cancel my contract if Vince is out of power" seems way too specific, but Tony didn't smell the shit Regal was spewing out of his mouth and added it in anyways. Also there's the fact that around this time was when the contract tampering in AEW became a known problem and I'd bet that Regal was involved with it.
