It didn't sell well, it barely had any hype to begin with besides with diehard aewtists and AEW shat it out at the worst possible time and abandoned it instantly. WWE2K20 came out when those games were actually still quite good, so people noticed. AEW fucked up their first try so it's more of a non-starter than a derailment, people will still remember 2K20 more for its amazing glitches than anyone ever will for this half-assed shite.
