Piecing together what we know about the incidences he's famous and known for and seeing the more reserved side to him in the shoot interviews he did, Jack may have said he didn't take the business seriously but he more or less did. He wouldn't have been able to have been in it for the length that he was. There was something underneath that said that he could have been a star or a bigger name had his reputation not proceeded him so much, but he couldn't take the racism either covert or blatant or ill-perceived from Cornette or Vince and he resorted to taking it from Jarrett. Jarrett however, couldn't contain Jack's natural charisma and comedic timing. They tried feeding him shit to make him quit and nothing worked cause he made the best of it. Jack's a hard nut to crack but he fit right into the ECW atmosphere perfectly.
