I was doing a 5x5 squat/bench/dead/press cycle for a while and made a ton of strength gains but life got fucked and 5x5s get brutal so stopped recently, now I'm just "exercising", mix of some barbell but mostly kettlebell lifts some sort of push, pull, squat, hinge, and carry every workout but barely challenging. I used to take a bunch of vitamin supplements but didn't notice a difference with or without them. Protein supps do make a noticeable difference but I can't be bothered. I'm 3 years in and totally fine with how I look which is freeing.
Diet is where I feel I've got it figured out, I follow a lot of Stan Efferding's advice and my bloodwork is coming back 10/10.
Went back to /fit/ about 6 months ago and it was just depressing, I'd guess the majority there literally don't lift
