Most of this website (at least the boards I browsed) is the same ol' nowadays, 1 or 2 schizos and 1 or 2 le hecking epic shitposters spamming the same thing for hours, days, months... I saw a handful of obnoxious shitposters and schizos kill a /vg/ general, singlehandedly making it go from ~200 different IPs and 2-3 threads per day to barely 90 different IPs and 1 thread every 2 days in just a few months of shitposting. It's just how it be, and it's especially exaggerated here because of the console war shit going on but it's still quite tame comparatively. Removing the IP count was a god awful decision, but samefagging is really not all that difficult to spot. Poster IDs would probably go a long way at least, but that's absolutely never happening lol.
At the end of the day, there's no use in crying about this shit because the mentally ill will just see that their bullshit is getting a reaction and double down even harder.
Also, to answer your question, we need a big chad type like Nick Aldis to wrangle the tards, or Teddy Long to send the Ammmerican Badass after them
