If it's the former, the stoner they hired outside of a K-Mart was supposed to dive but thought he was above it which is why Dana got pissed and blackballed him. It would also explain why Punk looked like such a fucking dweeb telegraphing his shit so bad because he probably figured it was like wrestling and the guy would just let him.
If it's the latter, which is probably the more likely one, it explains the horrible performance and the embarrassing shit like getting tickled while bleeding like a stuck pig. Now that he's "in" he gets to make a huge comeback in WWE and be a big shot again, despite looking like a skinnyfat roofer addict.
