Shidabro here, I really, really enjoyed yesterday's episode of Dynamite. While I still do wish Shida and Storm had something a little meater to get into, I thought the sitdown between them was good. Shida cut her usually PASSIONATE promos which give her so much character and personality. I think she might ham it up a little bit because I've heard her talk in streams and in interviews. I unironically love this though, because it makes her distinguishable from the others. She also carries an 80s vibe, with the sort of shouty, intense promos - which I enjoy. I'm sure the match will be fantastic though and I'm seriously looking forward to Shida and Storm II the two women going full throttle on each other on a PPV. That all said... I am curious to know how Mariah May will play into this. Will she cost Storm the belt or will she help Storm win the belt? Now, obviously, I don't want Shida to lose the belt, because the title desperately needs some stability, but If they play their cards right, they might have a way to create a compelling story/rivalry between two of the aces, while their third ace works her magic with Hart, Skye, and Willow. And all this while the fourth ace draws ever closer to returning and having her rematch with Hikaru Shida.
>>12221142I was thinking about this as well, which I why I'm curious to see where they take the stories. Say what you will about MJF, but what he's proven is that you can have multi-layered stories, with multiple characters and have them interwoven.
