Suwama (46) has accused TAJIRI (52) of being the mastermind behind Jake Lee's (33) departure from All Japan Pro Wrestling, claiming that Lee was brainwashed.
>[...] Jake himself stated his reason for leaving the group, "I only have one life, so I want to take on the challenge," but Suwama said, "I'll tell you. That was TAJIRI's influence. [Jake Lee] was "brainwashed." TAJIRI traveled around the world and was free to do whatever he wanted, right? [Lee] must have been influenced by that."
>Jake and TAJIRI had worked together as a unit called "Total Eclipse," and it was during this time that Jake began to look at the "outside world. Furthermore, Francisco Akira, who had a mentor-student relationship with TAJIRI and moved from All Japan to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, is also believed to have had an influence on Jake.
>Suwama said, "This is what happens to everyone who studies under TAJIRI. If Jake wants to go to New Japan, go for it! There won't be a third time (referring to Jake Lee leaving All Japan in the past), so don't come back!"
