I came into the WWA intending Shogun to stay a pure white-meat babyface in case life got too busy and I'd end up letting anons down with poor writing or a lack of complexity, but then I got surprisingly invested and since I've been seeing other anons echoing this opinion I'm trying to figure out how to make her stick out. I wouldn't want to do exactly what you were suggesting with Holly, but it's clear the best way to stick out in the WWA is to go absolutely over the top or be a bantgod. To this end, I've been trying to make her more sassy as a small step.
Things with Skelly and ribbit have been really fun, but I also don't want her to just be "Skelly's little (big?) buddy" (but I still want her to be buddies)
I am at least a little happy she's been a stable ally for Holly compared to the other dojo girls (Rabbit's a chuuni with LITERAL main character syndrome, Amy's a wreck, etc.) so even if that makes her "Holly's little buddy" it's something kek
I have a general idea for how to give her more of an edge. Kind of waiting to pull the trigger on that until a few angles are actually finished, though.
