>>16103448RVD is one of the few guys that knows how to work flips, kicks, and cooperative acrobatic sequences in such a way as to make it believable. Same with Jerry Lynn. Those two together inspired many of the indie wrestling sequences still used to this day. And yet they all miss the mark because it looks fake. They can't do it like RVD and Lynn. They can perform the moves, but not in a believable way. Indie smarks simply did not understand why RVD was great. They see the moves and love it, but they don't understand why. They're plebs. They don't understand pro wrestling; they just like flashy moves and crisp sequences. They don't understand that pro wrestling needs to have verisimilitude. And Dave Meltzer is among them, the Pied Piper leading the indie rats into the sea.
