Peaked in 2015/16. His initial singles heel run was the best of his career. Got good heat, cut solid promos and had great matches. He was at his best as the weasely piece of shit. He had a chance to become something akin to heel Edge in the mid 00s but injury and turning him face was a mistake.
As soon as he turned babyface with the kingslayer/burn it down/beastslayer shit he lost it. Even Brock and HHH trying to put him over at Mania didn't work. It's cliche to say at this point but his wife genuinely eclipsed him in star power.
Heyman tried to at least revitalize him with the messiah gimmick but bad timing + lockdowns. Now his current gimmick is too tryhard and one-dimensional.
Overall he's obviously had a career 99% of wrestlers would kill for and makes a lot of money but he could have been much more if they embraced his natural cuntishness.
