The story is that wrestling is a sport and winning matches leads to title opportunities and winning titles means fame and making more money.
If you have to have a "story" for every match it's sports entertainment bullshit not wrestling.
Frankly if you're doing an angle, not to mention multiple angles a show, it means you've already fucked up, business is down and you can't draw based solely on people wanting to see your good guys beat your bad guys.
