>>11586695I think it was later on when Cody left. When Cody was there it felt like AEW was more of a NWA based company with PWG matches. But when Cody left, everything fell apart. It went from feeling like an actual wrestling show to being like a DDT/NJPW clone. It was like they had no idea of what they wanted to be. The CM Punk/MJF feud kept me watching for a bit, but after that,they had nothing. Now they are truly struggling and have nothing much to offer. During that year I started watching more Shooto style Pro Wrestling then, and started seeing more of what AEW really was. The smaller wrestlers and the flippy shit really turned me off by then. So I slowly stopped watching and the last event I watched was this years Forbidden Door and I stopped afterwards. So in TL;DR form: it was the tone.
