If the scheduling was intentional it's beyond cutting off your nose to spite your face. I guarantee you that 90% of American joshi fans follow both or at the very least would be interested in going to both. Splitting that audience and forcing them to choose is beyond fucking retarded. Whatever potential gains you could theoretically make in doing so are completely dwarfed by the lost ticket sales. I'm glad that TJPW seems to be winning and I genuinely hope that Friday Stardom show draws 50 people. Fuck them.
