Kenny Omega vs Will Ospreay 1 was an amazing match and one of the best examples of in ring storytelling ever. Even Kenny omegas entrance played into the match psychology. Omega, coming out with a godlike entrance, is presented on power levels almost never before seen. Ospreay returns his baby face theme song to present him as the much lower power level scrappy underdog. When the match begins Omega is dominating Ospreay and making it look easy. He arrogantly lays on excessive offense, and more importantly, stalls pins and even kicks ospreay out of pins on purpose. As the onslaught continues, ospreay gets lucky after a couple actual kick outs and reversals to counter strike Omega. Omega, being far above his opponent, quickly regains control of the match before losing it again to a fired up Ospreay who’s power level rises a couple points at this point in the match. Now Omega and Ospreay are neck and neck in a brutal war, both desperately trying to make a statement against the other. With the veteran experience and the now smaller power level advantage, Omega pulls the victory out on the end after almost losing it to ospreay’s comeback. Boom. Perfectly encapsulated story with clear face and heel that sets up the next match. A work of art
