>Tony is too nice
He's not. Tony isn't a nice guy at all. You are mistaking his confrontation aversion as nice. But it's not. He avoids confrontation because he's afraid and because he's socially awkward.
He "quietly" fires people. He just doesn't tell people they are fired. He let's them sit at home not knowing what is going on. He scapegoats expendable employees. Read Ryan Nemeth's lawsuit against Tony Khan. Ryan's lawyer lays out how Tony Khan uses his employees as scapegoats.
He holds his employees hostage. Even the WWE doesn't do something that slimy. People get upset at WWE for their bi-yearly bulk layoffs where they cut people they don't have any creative for. But this at least lets them find employment else where and attempt to stay relevant. Tony freezes out his employees that he doesn't have creative for.
Tony is not too nice for professional wrestling. He killed the first true rival promotion to WWE since WCW by booking for Dave Meltzer. Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, and the Young Bucks created AEW. CM Punk made AEW famous and was why it looked like Dynamite was potentially going to pass RAW one day. Tony killed it.
First Cody left. Then Punk was fired. Now Kenny isn't coming back, he's going to Japan. All that's left is the Bucks and they aren't around much anymore and are likely on their way out too.
I love(d) AEW. I fucking despise Tony Khan. He has made sure that WWE will forever remain the industry leader. He fucked us all.
